Fairhaven Church

Easter

Christ is Risen!

Come celebrate that through Jesus Christ's death and resurrection, God offers his undying love and victory over death to us all. You won't want to miss these special services.

SELECT A CAMPUS: Centerville Northmont Springboro
50th Anniversary

In the spring of 1964, Fairhaven Church held its first public service when 12 families from Burns Ave. Church began meeting at the Kettering YMCA. On Easter Weekend, April 19/20, we invite you to join with us as we commemorate Fairhaven Church’s 50th anniversary. In addition to celebrating Easter, we will have a special display honoring our 12 founding families and performances by our 50th Anniversary Celebration Choir. You won’t want to miss this special event, as we celebrate all that God has done in and through Fairhaven Church over the last 50 years!

Maundy Thursday Services

You’ll notice that this Easter season we are not holding our traditional Maundy Thursday services. This is due to work that needs to be completed in the Worship Center in the days leading up to Easter. Instead, we are offering several shorter services in the MAC throughout the day on Good Friday. We look forward to resuming the Maundy Thursday tradition in 2015.

Passover Dinner

Sunday, April 13, 5:00 PM, Founders Hall

Celebrate the Passover Seder as Jesus did with His disciples and as the Jews have done for thousands of years. Immerse yourself in the unique customs of a traditional Passover service led by Rabbi Jonathan Sacks. Cost is $15 for ages 12 and up and $10 for children under 12 (age-appropriate for 8 years and older). Doors open at 4:30 PM, seating by 4:45 PM, Seder begins at 5:00 PM. Registration ends April 7.

Registration has ended.

Good Friday Communion

Friday, April 18, 6:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 3:00 PM, MAC

On Good Friday we remember the day Jesus Christ willingly suffered and died by crucifixion as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. At four times throughout the day, we've arranged to have 30-minute services of reflection, scripture reading and communion by intinction, led by our pastors and elders. In between services the MAC will be open for prayer and reflection.

Easter Weekend

Saturday, April 19, 6:00 PM
Sunday, April 20, 7:30 AM, 9:00 AM, 10:30 AM & 12:00 PM

Through Jesus Christ's death and resurrection, God offers his undying love and victory over death to us all. Pick up some "bringer cards" starting March 15/16 to use to invite your family, friends and coworkers to hear the Good News!
