Fairhaven’s Family Childcare Fee covers the cost of all childcare services, children ages six weeks-kindergarten, that a family uses for ministry events. This annual (September-August), non-refundable fee of $30 per family can be paid any time during the year and is NOT required for weekend or holiday worship services. Childcare registration is in addition to your event registration and should be done no later than one week in advance of the ministry event.
Explore the ten traits of a healthy disciple, including topics around prayer, relationships, servanthood, worship, spiritual disciplines, and relating to the church. Using the book of John, the author looks to the beloved disciple as an example of a life lived close to Christ. The class will give you practical advice on how to live with Jesus and for Him. Personal experiences bring the traits of discipleship into modern context.
Child Dedication is your public declaration of a commitment to raise your child to know Christ as their Savior. The mandatory informational meeting on Tuesday, October 4 at 7:00 PM in Rooms 201-203 will provide information for parents who wish to dedicate their child on Sunday, October 9. There are a limited number of spots available.
There are three steps to becoming a covenant member: attend one 90-minute class on covenant membership, be interviewed by an elder or a pastor regarding your spiritual journey and commitment to Jesus Christ, and be received into covenant membership during a Fairhaven worship service. Class dates are listed below for each campus. You only need to attend one class.

Join us on a biblical journey to John’s Apocalypse (the book of Revelation) that points to the end of history as we know it. David will address powerful images such as “the seven seals” and “the seven trumpets.” Pete will address the progressive theme of redemption and witness in Revelation 10 & 11, as well as the theme of God’s judgment from the Old Testament and Revelation 12-20. You will hear complementary, yet different, perspectives on this amazing book. Anyone eager for a solid biblical approach to the current political, religious and economic upheaval will want to consider the increasingly alarming truths of our 21st century.
Enjoy going to Tom’s Maze, Englewood Fun Center and spending the night at the Fairhaven Northmont Campus! We will also be having a hayride, s’mores and a bonfire. Some events are weather permitting. Experience the realities of family life with other parents who are trying to cultivate meaningful relationships. We study and discuss principles of building strong families. Childcare is provided with a week advance notice for pre-schoolers. School age children can join regular KidMix activities.
This group provides support as people walk through the journey of grief after losing a loved one. This video-based program has been used around the world to help millions of people. Workbook is $15. Scholarships are available.

Join us for a family meal before Wednesday night activities. Open to all Growing Families attendees. Cost is $5 per person ($20 max per family). Free for ages 0-3. Dealing with aging parents? Have more questions than answers? Questions like: Is my parent really safe at home alone? Should they be driving? Should I move them in with me or into a care facility? Yet theology – most simply, the knowledge of God – is essential to the life and health of Christ-followers and the Church. In this introductory class, we’ll explore what theology is, what tools theology uses, why every believer is a theologian and how theology can be productive and satisfying.
